  • Prof. Kim obtained his Medical Degree from the Hanyang University in 1998. He received PhD. degree in Immunology and Rheumatology from Hanyang University in 2008 and currently holds the title of Professor in Chonnam National University Medical School and Hospital. In 2009, he was awarded the title of ASAS (Assessment of SpondyloArthritis International Society) full member in South Korea. From 2014 to 2016, he joined Prof. Bowness Lab. in University of Oxford and conducted a project of functional role of Th17 cells in Ankylosing Spondylitis. Prof. Kim published over 50 peer-reviewed articles in clinical and scientific journals.
