- Dr. Hong is an associate professor at the University of Ulsan, College of Medicine, Asan Medical Center, Seoul. Dr. Hong received a medical doctor degree from Inje University, and went on to Asan Medical Center for residency training in internal medicine and a clinical fellowship in rheumatology. His scientific interests include the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases, particularly systemic lupus erythematosus and gouty arthritis.
