- Yun Jong Lee received the M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the Seoul National University College of Medicine in 1991 and 2001, respectively. He completed his Rheumatology fellowship from Seoul National University Hospital in 2001. He joined the Gyeongsang National University Hospital as a clinical assistant professor in 2001 and did the Seoul National University Bundang Hospital in 2003. He has held faculty positions at the Seoul National University College of Medicine since 2005. He has served as the head of the division of Rheumatology at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital since 2009. He is the author or coauthor of more than 220 papers in international or Korean refereed journals. His research interests cover several aspects across rheumatic diseases, especially include the cell biology of inflammation.
